From the first day I picked up a pencil I've always been into art and design. Overall I've been a full time graphic & web designer for over 8 years now with a total of 5 companies. I've been lucky to have my work printed and have a global audience at times.
The industry has changed a lot with electronic devices and HTML standards that seem to change daily. With this designers including myself have to adapt and keep learning. So I also have experience in creating mobile safe responsive sites/emails as well as iOS & Android Apps and publications.
When it comes to design and perception I have very strong views on what works and what doesn't. In my opinion pretty much everything should have a purpose; your work has to be remembered for all the right reasons. In my opinion, there always has to be structure. As well as design I have many passions and influences. My biggest influence being all things Japan. I have visited three times now and am currently learning Japanese...kon'nichiwa mina!
I always make a point of visiting blogs and keeping my magazine subscriptions up to date as I am a keen learner and always looking to better myself.
